Atty. David D. Erro is a renowned expert in agrarian reform, land matters, and the challenges faced by both farmers and landowners—making him an integral member of the LANDBANK Board of Directors representing the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Sector.
He was previously appointed as Undersecretary of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) in 2016, and served as OIC-Secretary until the end of the Duterte Administration.
During his time in the agrarian department, Director Erro was the only Undersecretary who headed four sectors/offices—Finance, Planning and Administration; Policy, Planning and Research; Field Operations; and External Affairs and Communications Operations, all while serving as the official spokesperson with the longest term.
Among his major accomplishments include the re-activation of the Presidential Agrarian Reform Council (PARC); the coverage of lands in Boracay, Siargao and Dinagat Islands; and resolving critical agrarian issues and land disputes of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and landowners nationwide.
Atty. Erro earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of the Philippines-Manila before pursuing law at San Beda College and earning his degree from Far Eastern University. He passed the Bar Examinations in 2002.
Director Erro was officially appointed as part of the LANDBANK Board on February 20, 2023. He took his Oath of Office on February 23, 2023.
